Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Extracto collects, how it is used, and what choices users have.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as name, email address, password hash, API key metadata, usage logs, credit transactions, parser run history, billing events, and support messages.

Parser Inputs and Results

Parser inputs and result previews may be stored to provide run history, debugging, billing, and support. Users may enable query hiding where available to reduce stored request text for future requests.

Payments

Payment information is processed by our payment provider, Creem. Extracto receives payment events, product identifiers, checkout IDs, customer identifiers, and metadata needed to grant credits and maintain records. We do not store full card numbers.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate accounts, provide API access, run parsers, calculate credits, prevent abuse, secure the service, improve the product, and respond to support requests.

Service Providers

We may use hosting, analytics, logging, email, queue, parser infrastructure, and payment providers to operate Extracto. These providers process information on our behalf or as independent providers where applicable.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect user information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. You should protect passwords and API keys carefully.

Retention

We retain account, billing, ledger, and usage records as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

Your Choices

You may update account details in the console, revoke API keys, hide future query text where available, and contact us to request account or data assistance.

International Use

Extracto may be operated from infrastructure in multiple regions. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed outside your country.
